This Hawk from QSP Knives is typical of the brand…quality manufacturing at very affordable prices. You get a lot of knife for the money with the QSP brand!
This Hawk model has a Verawood handle and an S35VN stainless steel blade.
The QSP Hawk is a near perfect EDC knife. It’s compact, with only just enough handle to get a full grip on, and just enough blade to accomplish everyday cutting tasks. You can open it either with the flipper-tab, or the dual thumb studs. On the pommel, the knife has a recessed deep-carry pocket clip and a lanyard hole.
This Hawk model features:
- S35VN Stainless steel Drop Point blade with 82mm cutting edge
- Verawood handle scales with excellent fit and finish. There is good texture to the handle material helping maintain a good grip.
- Ceramic Ball Bearing pivot for smooth, consistent opening.
- Open via a flipper OR dual thumb studs!
- Jimping on the thumb ramp aids with grip when choking down on the blade.
- Subtle Jimping on the Flipper, which becomes the choil, provides a good grip for easy opening
- Full length stainless steel liners and good quality barrel spacers and hardware.
- The stainless deep carry pocket clip allows a secure carry at all times. The Hawk is a tip-up carry.
The Hawk oozes style, is very well put together, has a great steel and is hardly noticed in the pocket.

I looked at review videos all over YouTube, and out of all the knives I considered these ended up winning me over, they’re built like 300 dollar knives but more than half that, the blade deploys nicely and snaps satisfyingly when it locks. One thing I might do different is the huge finger notch but that being said it’s still workable (you just have to be careful it doesn’t get caught and deploys the blade, that would be nasty because these are so sharp they’ll cut you if you look at them the wrong way…….) otherwise no real complaints at all.
Great knives, I ordered 2 and am very happy with both.
