In addition, the Boker Forge series is convincing with a very attractive price performance ratio. The knives are made from X50CrMoV15 chrome molybdenum vanadium stainless steel, are ideally balanced and provide perfect handling due to the ergonomic grip design. Black handle scales made of special high quality ABS synthetic material are durably combined with three stainless steel rivets and are attached to the completely continuous tang. The design of the blades, including the transition to the bolster, allows easy sharpening and ensures long term perfect function for the knives in combination with proper care. Please only hand wash the knives, do not place in dishwasher. Moreover, the Boker Forge series convinces with an incredibly attractive price performance ratio. Initially operating as a hardware factory in Solingen, Germany, Boker moved into the world of armoury when they began producing sabres in 1829. From there, the German manufacturer saw a lot of success and expanded its operations into a number of other tools and cutlery ornaments. In 1865, Hermann and Robert Boker moved to the United States and Canada, respectively. There, Hermann set up Boker & Co. in New York, and Robert created Casa Boker. The history of all three companies has remained intertwined with one another, maintaining a good relationship throughout their history. The second world war saw the original Boker factory in Solingen bombed and completely destroyed.
